DESCRIPTION

Also known as NYAP1_HUMAN, NYAP1, C7orf51. Activates PI3K and concomitantly recruits the WAVE1 complex to the close vicinity of PI3K and regulates neuronal morphogenesis. Interacts with ACOT9, ARHGAP26 and PIK3R2. Interacts with components of the WAVE1 complex, CYFIP1 and NCKAP1; this interaction mediates PI3K-WAVE1 association and actin cytoskeleton remodeling (By similarity).
